For the Travel & Connectivity Week at Expo 2020, the Swiss Pavilion is going to look at the mobility sector from the eyes of digitalisation. MaaS (Mobility as a Service) is gaining a large presence when it comes to urban planning. Thanks to apps on our smartphone we are able to book a taxi, plan a delivery, send items and even rent vehicles in the timeframe of a few minutes. What are the implications for our cities? Does digitalisation rhyme with sustainability? Will the traveller of tomorrow be vulnerable to data theft? These are some of the questions we will be addressing.

Join us as we will present cutting-edge innovation from the EPFL Middle East and the Swiss smart ticketing Company Faitiq, These will be matched by peers from the UAE University and other Emirati players in a conversation moderated by IGLUS and their expertise in analysing urban infrastructures.

Matthias Finger, C4DT affiliated Professor, will be moderating the event.
